A collector's item in English porcelain signed Walter Moorcroft, one of the manufacturer's most refined and sought-after designs. The orchids, rendered with striking botanical precision, unfold on the vase's surface in a balanced and luminous composition: petals with soft and deep hues, finely hand-traced raised outlines, and enamels with the chromatic richness characteristic of the Moorcroft house.

Walter Moorcroft (1917–2002)
Walter Moorcroft, son of the founder William Moorcroft, managed the family factory from 1945 to 1987. Trained at the Royal College of Art in London, he perpetuated and enriched his father's legacy by developing floral designs of great finesse — including orchids, which perfectly illustrate his mastery of naturalist drawing and raised enamels. Pieces signed by him are now highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
