Born on March 8, 1920, in Grand-Mère (Mauricie), Jeanne D'Arc Leclerc rigorously trained at the École des Beaux-Arts de Québec for nearly five years. Proficient in both oil and acrylic, she dedicated her career to Quebecois landscapes and urban scenes, exhibiting solo and in groups in Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, and San Francisco between the 1960s and 1980s. She passed away on August 3, 2016, at the age of 96, leaving behind a rich and well-documented body of work.
