Beautiful pine sculpture, attributed to Quebec sculptor Jean-Baptiste Côté (1832-1907) and acquired directly from his family's descendants.
The piece was originally given to a child as a toy, which explains the patina that bears witness to affectionate use and long cherished. A direct family provenance that gives this object exceptional historical and sentimental value.
